Squash'09

Sports for Positive Change and one of the nation’s oldest Squash clubs, Calcutta Racket Club jointly organized School Squash, an interschool squash tournament at the club premises from 15th Sept to 18 Sept’ 09.

Purpose of the Meet

    • To promote the sport by making Competitive Squash popular in Schools in Kolkata and suburbs
    • To encourage students to take up the sport at an early age
    • To encourage female gender to participate more in this sport, which is dominated by male in India
    • Annual Ranking of players/schools in Kolkata would set targets for squash players in schools to improve which would eventually generate quality squash players for the state and the country.
